BRIEF: CONCEPT AND PRODUCTION DESIGN OF A NEW, LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT, EXTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL LUMINAIRE RANGE

Paviom was born of a passion for lighting. From passion evolved a philosophy, core values, a shape and structure for what we wanted to be with an ethical approach that takes a holistic view of eco-design. Their products respect the environment and champion the need for sustainability.

The Lofoot range, designed by Luminair, represent what Paviom is all about: fresh and original design with a strong environmental focus. Taking inspiration from the organic form, the Lofoot family provides a totally unique look as each Lofoot lighting module offers a distinctive 'bud-like' aesthetic to enhance an exterior landscape. This organic form continues in the in-ground unit with interchangeable petal-like inserts in a wide variety of natural and eco-friendly materials such as sustainably sourced hardwoods and engineered stone.

The modular approach to the Lofoot range offers a solid outdoor module that can be used as an in-ground, spot and bollard luminaire simply by changing its mounting system. This modularity of design contributes greatly to Lofoot environmental credentials through reduced energy and parts in manufacture and reduced packaging and transportation needs. The modules are engineered to host numerous energy efficient light sources and run them as efficiently as possible while also being easily adaptable to take on new technologies as they become available.
