Exhibiting himself as a creative inventor from an early age Jason Thawley developed as a competent engineer and artist working for Land Rover and Lola Cars before graduating with a Honours Degree in Mechanical engineering in the late 1990's.
He went on to work as part of a select design team for a group of professional audio companies working on new ranges of ground-breaking professional amplifier and control products, developing his skills in electro-mechanical, thermal and ergonomic design.
Keen to broaden his horizons in the product design field and instill a passion for sustainable and eco-friendly design Jason decided to setup his own design company, Luminair, producing a range of sustainably focussed lighting products incorporating traditional and new eco-friendly materials. The range proved a pivotal portfolio for Jason's work and ethics leading to many companies recognising his unique talents and using his expertise to help develop like minded solutions.
Further to lighting, Jason also keeps his hand in the Professional Audio field developing bespoke, ground breaking products for large companies and individual musicians alike, such as the recent ‘Maven’ console project for world renowned DJ Sasha, and also offering creative engineering input to a host of other consumer and professional products.
